Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself
This is a saying that is found several places in the Bible in different forms, and it has given me food for thought for years.
For me it is simply a way of seeing that I should love myself, as I would another.
In some teachings we are told that we cannot love others until we love ourselves, but I know from experience that it is much easier to love another than it is to really love my self.
So I have flipped the statement from the Bible around and say: Thou Shalt Love Thyself as Thy Neighbor. It goes both ways for me now
You may agree or disagree, but we all have our own unique way of being, and my hope is that love of one self is as great as that of another, and vice versa
